If anything, it's the breastfeeding which depletes the calcium that does deplete bones, but this loss is quickly recovered soon after as far as we know...
Pregnancy itself doesn't deplete bones...quite the contrary as the hyperestrogenic state of Pregnancy may actually increase bone density...
There would also be no malnutrition to the baby...
One should consider that nutrition/calories will most always favor the fetus than the mother in cases of malnutrition (we're not recommending this)...
