Bled non-stop from Feb 2007 when I went off birth control through August 2007 when it stopped for two weeks because I was pregnant. I miscarried and bled for six weeks. It stopped for a week then started again and didn't stop.

Saw dr. numerous times with no action. Changed drs. Diganosed with hormone imbalance (yet he never tested my levels?!?!)

10mg day of progesterone on 1/28/08 for 10 days

Stopped bleeding 1/31-2/2

Ended pills 2/6

LMP: 2/3/08-2/12/08

Ovulate 17th

LMP: 3/2/08

Ovulate: 3/16/08

Pills: 5/13/08-5/22/08

LMP: 5/22/08

Ant O: 6/5/08

Pills: 6/10-6/17

LMP: 6/19/08

Pills: 7/4/08-7/11/08

LMP:7/11/08

Ov 7/21

Light brown spotting 7/27-29

Now been crampy w/ headaches and stuffy nose for a week, but 3 BFN as recently as FMU today.

This is so frustrating and I feellikemy dr. isn't doing what he could to help, yet can't change b/c of insurance.

Just needed to vent and looking for suport.

*sigh* CD 28, 18 DPO, still crampy, still BFN. I am never going to get preggo if dr. doesn''t get this damn hormone imbalance straight. Have appt 8/18 but I'm sure he will blow me off and say "give it more time" as he has done for the last 2 yrs.

That's so frustrating for you Tess. . . it's such a shame that you can't get a new doctor if he brushes you off like that. Just tell him that you want to get things sorted once and for all and you won't take no for an answer.

Well I got my family dr on my side at one point. My gyn let me bleed non stop for so long that I got very anemic (SP?). She called his office and threw a fit so they called me to get me in. That's how I got put on progesterone the first time. It helped for one cycle but that's it so then he did three consecutive months. I'm at the end of my first cycle off it.

Finally went to dr on CD 38. Now on CD 40. Gave me meds to bring AF on (after BFN blood test of course)... now I just want her to come and get it over with already. Also ordered bloodwork for CD 21 to check progesterone level to see if I'm ovulating, and semen analysis for DH. Didn't do a damn thing about the hormone imbalance that is causing all my probs to begin with. UGH!

Hey Tess, how do you confirm ovulation? The accurate ways are : blood test, Ultrasound or OPKs. Anything else is useless. Also, if you ovulate, you will get a period by your own (if not preggo). So, if you Ovulated last cycle (per ur dates) then why do you need provera to bring about a period? Just a thought. Also, what harmone imbalance do you have? You need to get that answered by your Dr and then post a question here, Im sure many can help you out. If you dont ovulate, then the pill that u take aint working. you have to switch pills, increase dosage or move on to injectibles. We are all here to help you out thru your journey..Good luck to you.

I do ovulate on my own, confirmed with OPK's. I still do not get AF on my own, regardless. Mt Progesterone level do not come down on their own to bring her on. So instead I have to take progesterone to increase my leels even higher, the when it drops back down to my already high levels, she comes fast and heavy.

Update- After going through three rounds of HRT, I now no longer ovulate on my own (two consecutive cycles now of no + OPK). CD21 bloodwork Monday showed a progesterone level of 1.20.

Appt on the 30th, which will hopefully lead to a clomid prescription, as well as more prometrium, since I'm sure I'll need it to bring AF on.

I sure hope he cooperates and writes the script. I'm sick of him wasting time.

FINALLY!!!!! Went to dr today and he gave me a script for 50 mg Clomid. Script says CD 5-9, but he said if I want to take it a day earlier I can (CD 4-8). Unfortunately, AF came last week on her own (even though I didn't O that cycle) so now I have to wait awhile before I can start. Currently on CD 9.... cross your fingers for me ladies.
