Need advice about clomid multiples and cyst

I would love a second opinion on this. My husband and I have been TTC for 1.5 years and had a miscarriage last spring. All of my bloodwork and exams show there is nothing wrong with me and my cycle is a little abnormal but I ovulate each month. My husband has a normal sperm count but motility and morphology are less than normal. My doctor started me on clomid this month even though I had a cyst on my ovary. I just had my day 14 sono. and she said I'm over-stimulated and she wants us to avoid intercourse b/c of the risk of multiples. I feel like I want to try b/c it seems unlikely to me that we will fertilize several eggs this time if in all of the time we have been trying we have timed intercourse right and not fertilized the egg (except for the one time). It would be fine with us to have twins, we just really want a baby, but we would like to avoid having more than twins. I just wanted a second opinion on whether we should try this time or not. Thanks.

Welcome to FertilityTies ReadyinTexas!

Only you and your doc can come to this decision, and your doc is most likely right, that the risk may be too high. It is ultimately your body however, and if you do decide to have intercourse, we hope that only one or two would implant and most likely this would be the case. However, if you have multiples, be prepared to deal with the consequenses and please only do so if you're open to selective reduction
