I am 29, and my DH is 33.
I got married June 2008 to the best man in the entire world.
We actually started trying for a baby in April 2008. In my mind I thought, if I'm 3 months Pregnant on my wedding, no one will be able to tell yet. Well, needless to say I didn't have to worry about that. 18 months later, here I am still trying!
I went to my family Dr after about 5 months of TTC. He almost laughed at me basically. But I kind of had a little feeling that something wasn't quite right. For years now, I've always started spotting 7-10 days before AF is due. My Dr said...Oh nothing to worry about...spotting is totally normal....ya right.
So, he suggested before going any furthur with me, my DH should get an SA done. Well, it came back not good(or so we were told by the Lab.) Long story short, we were reffered to a fertility clinic for DH. It was a couple months wait to get in, so in the meantime, I had him doing Accupuncture and taking this Horrible Mud tea from the Chinese Dr.
SO we meet with the urologist, he has a look at the SA results and says that those were the best #'s he will see all day and he doesn't think that the sperm are the problem. So...he reffers me to another Dr at the same clinic.....more waiting.
SO I finally get in there and during my first U/S, it reveals I had a 7CM Cyst(Endometrioma) on my left ovary.
AFter a few more questions with the RE, she said straight away that she suspects I have Endometriosis, the spotting being one major red flag.
So after some more testing(sonogram, HSG etc...)She wanted to book me for a laparoscopy.
I was happy to hear my tubes were open after the HSG, so we decided to do an IUI while I was waiting for my Lap. Being from Canada, there is ALWAYS A LOT of waiting here.lol
So of course, my IUI was unsuccessful. SO we kept trying in the meantime...no luck.
Finally July 20th 09, I had My Lap.
Unfortunately, it revealed I had stage 4 Endo. Even though it was all removed successfully, despite being Open, my left tube was wrapped around and "stuck" to my ovary, and my right one was covered with Scarring. RE says she doesn't think My Tubes will be very Functional.
I guess I am still tring to hold on for some Hope...because I know that they are Open, and you just never know. SO this is my first month on Clomid and I had trigger shot last week, and am currently 10DPO hoping for the best, but I am so used to dissapointment, that I don't expect much anymore. I know thats not a great attitude, but it's true.
I am giving it until December, then we will start the necessary steps for starting IVF, which will be a lot of $$ but well worth it if it works. Thanks for reading ladies, any baby dust would be much appreciated.
Baby Dust to all.

I also got married last year (May 2008) and started trying just before the wedding (since the doc said I had a cyst and lots of signs for endo...plus a family history of it)...
Had my lap Feb 09-dx was severe endo that fused the back of my uterus to my colon. He couldn't remove it but did remove my 7cm endometrioma and two smaller cysts on the other ovary. None on my tubes though thankfully!
OVer this summer we had all the tests...Hubbys SA was great, tubes are clear.
Just did my first iui today with 100mg of clomid on days 3-7. Now I'm in the tww.
Babydust to us both!
