i had raised prolactin was 5322 and i had a m.r.i showed a tumor i was put on dosinex / carbergoline which brings your levels bk down am 23 my prolactin now is 8.8 after meds

hello my name is marilyn or lynn
i am very young i know. i am 21 years old
i have no kids.. but i am trying.
i am married have been married since i was 17 (legally married)
i was diagnosed with endometriosis
last year... i have hydrosalpinx in both tubes... wihich mean i have fluid in both of my tubes.. i am going to get them removed this year and on to ivf for next year... the only thing in the way is the money i am currently saving up for my ivf cycle number one hopefully the only one... tommorow i have an mri for high prolactin levels a possible tumor in my pituatary gland (in the head)
hope all goes well i will keep you guys posted.......
so as you can see my luck is not all good.... :) but i still have my head up...

Hi LYnn.......welcome to this site. It is really full of some wonderful women who are working towards the same goal as you! Then there are woman on here who just had little ones but still like to give any info we can to help others (I'm one of them!). I hope you can save the money for IVF. There are a few women on here who have done it and are now preggo! I hope they can help you with any questions you have. Take care and hugs! Keep us psoted!

for being so strong... anyone who is going through is a really strong person.. having to take the meds. the tests..//... the doctor visits.

well iwent to my appointment... and bad news i have a small tumor in my pituatary gland....
the good thing is thats it's small the bad thing is that i have it :(
so im getting medication for it... hopefully itll work.!!
i have to get muy tubes removed they are hydrosalpinx so thats not very fun... but thats the only way to get ivf....
im keeping my hopes up....

oh lynn, i'm so sorry. but you are absolutely right to stay so positive!! this will happen for you! when will you have your surgery? and do you know when you'll be able to start ivf?? there are lots of ladies on the site that can help you through that. have you seen caryn's journey through ivf?? she's writing about the process everyday...it's really interesting. good luck sweetie, and i wish you the best!!
