We got to the clinic at 1pm and after tons of paperwork, we finally saw the dr. It wasn't the dr. that we thought we were seeing - rather a dr that works with Dr. Jansen. He began to talk with us like HE was our dr. - all very confusing. Then he said he was going to talk to Dr. Jansen - about 10 min later both him and Dr. Jansen come and and the rest of our appt was dh, myself, and two dr's. One wasn't training or anything, they are both full doctors. It was a little strange.
Then we started to discuss what was going to happen next. They want to give me an HSG and both DH and I are to be tested for chromosomal abnormalities. I also have to do a few other blood tests to test for clotting, etc. The Dr. wants me to go on progesterone when we start trying again and continue on 1 baby asprin daily when we begin TTC again.
So then we went down to lab but had to stop off at the financial office to discuss insurance - where we learned that we need to have written approval from our insurance company for any of these tests prior to doing them - so that will take up to 30 days:( So we were SUPPOSED to get the blood tests and instead we just got out approval faxed to the insurance company.
I still havent gotten a period since my last miscarriage (just over 4 weeks ago) but as soon as I get that hopefully my approvals will have gone through and I can get the HSG done. Grrrr - I absolutely hate all of this.
The dr.'s were nice though. They said that we are not the typical patient as dh and I have had no problem GETTING pregnant - but rather STAYING pregnant.
Hopefully we will get some answers soon.

The baby aspirin and the prog are such a great idea, esp since you get preggo just dont stay preggo!
You may have something so simple as the clotting disorder adn the baby aspirin will solve that! WOuldnt that be great?!?!?!
I hope that your ins doesnt take that long so that you can get tested right away. The HSG sucked for me but it is over quickly and was able to say that my tubes were not blocked.
We also had chromosomal testing done after our 2nd m/c to see if it would continue to happen and we were a-ok.
I got AF abotu 6 weeks after both of the m/c's, usually that is about the time you get it with ovulation about 4 weeks after an early m/c.
I actullay got preggo the month we met with the RE so maybe you will too :)
