so in the 5 mths since the miscarriage i have found out i have an underactive thyroid, wich is now totally medicated and i feel fantastic.

last week i found out i have mild PCOS, have been taking metformin since then and start provera in the morning.

so its been three things so hopefully it rings true that things come in three's and the universe will give me a break for a bit.

i have so much in my life to be greatfull for, im not sure why these things have been thrown my way ( absolutley no family history of either condition) but i am determined to live life to the max and let nature ( and meds) take its course. i hope to concieve by the end of the year but i also know that everything happens for a reason and there is a bigger plan in action. so i will wait patiently for my miracles to arrive.

hi Jules, just saw ur post. I am also in the similar situation. Have thyroid, diagnosed with PCOS and currently on Metformin.

How are things going on at ur end? How long did it take for your periods to regulate after being on Metformin?

hi naaz, i am now on 3rd cycle with the fertility meds. i never took metformin alone, i got straight into the other meds,, i didnt want to wait around.i still take 100mg a day, one tab in morning and one at nite. if you talk metformin alone they say it can take up to 3mths for, if anything to happen!

provera eventually bought on a bleed and now that im ovulating "with meds" my period has been regulated. im currently in the 22w, af should be here between thursday and sunday, so if nothing will test sunday. is so hard the 2ww!!!!! got a faint pos 9dpo but then negative. so have left it alone and if its ment to be, it will be. so are you taking the fertility meds yet?

Jules, the only medication that I am on right now is Metformin. My doctor wants me to wait for 3mnths to see how my body responds to Metformin alone. I am not on any fertility meds. Which medications are you on currently? Clomid or Femara? ARe you still taking Provera to induce periods every month?

im taking clomid 3-7 and FSH injections (tint amount) 8-11. one you ovulate your period automatically follows if pregnancy doesnt occur so no need for provera. no luck for me this cycle, hopefully af arrives soon so can start again!! have you got any children?

No, we are trying for our first. What abt you? Are you on Metformin as well in addition to the above mentioned drugs?

yes i take metformin, 100 a day. af arrived 2day, so hope this cycle is it! i dont have any children, also trying for first. its an exciting time!!

HI Jules, Just wanted to know how are things going at ur end? AF did not start for me naturally, so currently on Provera again to get it started. Hopefully, my periods will be regular after I reach the 3 months mark of Metformin.

hi naaz, so when does the 3mth mark end? will you take clomid after that? i should get my + opk tonight or tomorrow so have been bd for last 2 days and tonight i will also. that should cover me, hopefully! i have 4 follicles this cycle. doc said between 2 and 4 will ovulate, so its exciting, hoping for BFP this cycle.x

i got my + opk yesterday at 11am, bd for the 5th nite last night! wow, its tiring this baby making!!! not sure if will bd tonight, will see how i feel. i wish you SO much luck with everything. keep me updated.x

Your welcome and I will! But I would bd tonight just to make sure!! LOL! The doc told me after I got a postive opk that I should bd for the next 2 days and pray that it works. So for you I would bd tonight also! HA! Ha!

Well I don't ovulate at this time but how do you know when you are about to ovulate really is my question I guess.

oh great to know tina, i started BD on thursday night got my + monday.( its tues morn in aust) i will continue to Bd tonight also, my pelvic area is just a bit sore 2day!!

with irregular periods it is a bit hard to learn from past cycles when you will ovulate brit. if you bd every second day you should be covered.x

Yeah well we bd about every day so I guess thats a good thing! But see I cant afford my medicine right now to help me get regular and ovulate so it sucks right now!

Hi Jules, how are things going at your end? Lots of babydust to you dear!!!!

AF did not show up for me, so had to induce it this month as well with Provera. Would be meeting my doctor early next month to decide on the next plan.

hi naaz, is good that you are meeting with your doc soon, hopefully you will get your BFP in a few mths!!!!

im 6dpo today (sunday) af due between fri and monday so if nothing by monday i will test.hopefully this is my mth!!xo
