my journey...
April 25, 2008
well, i have been ttc since february...but I am really going to start counting from may. :)
I went to the dr earlier this month (april) and apparently I don't ov. I am back on bcp to get my period and she put me on metformin as well. Once I get my period, I will start clomid days 3-7! Yikes!
I am SOOOO excited and I am surprisingly optimistic! I am usually a little more "glass half empty!"
I am having some side effects from metformin, mainly sick to my stomach, but also extremely thirsty!
I am very nervous about the clomid side effects!
Here's hoping to a first round pregs!!!
I will update anyone who is interested on the progress, the hurdles, etc...i am usually a very open book!
However, I am having a hard time talking about this with friends because some aren't ttc and others don't really understand the medicine part!
my twin sis went through the same thing i am now for baby #1 (and baby #2 was an unexpected fun surprise!)so i can talk to her too.
Anyway, I am here to learn, share, and hear what everyone else is going through!
Babydust to all!

How about you???
How about you???
babyquestions- I am glad you O'd, but I am sorry DH is out of town. :( My DH is on call 24 hrs a day, 7 days week. He will be gone 24-48 hrs at a time. So I am worried that when I "O" he will be gone. Makes this so much harder. He was here this month and I am 8 DPO, so I am hoping for the best because next month may be a different story. Were you able to get any "fun" in at all 2-3 days prior to "O"? I sure hope so because that gives you a chance.
I'm sorry BabyQue... how are you hun? I hope all is well and I wanted to let you know, I was thinking of you and you will have BFP's very soon. Stay positive. Take this time when DH is away and relax as much as possible and rest. When he gets home bd lol just for fun. I just know you be have great news in due time. Baby Dust.
BabyQ.. hey hun! I happy to hear that u did O but sorry to hear that DH was not home. Sperm can live up to 5 days in the right conditions so lets hope that u CDed be4 he left and that the conditions were right and u got the egg this month.
If not then there is always next month hun even tho we all dont want to hear that. At least u know what has been going on with u and its all getting fixed now so in a matter of time u will get that BFP!!!

Sorry to hear about having trouble with ovulation, glad to hear that you are more positive than usual. I always get excited and feel more positive when I begin a new treatment. Don't be too nervous about the Clomid side effects. Some women don't experience any, I had headaches and was moody with a lack of patience but nothing that was worth not giving it a try. I have been ttc for about a year now with unexplained infertility, I will begin injections next cycle. It's nice that you can talk about this with your sister because it is hard for others who aren't going through this to understand how it really makes us feel. I'm lucky that I have a few friends who know exactly what I am going through and of course everyone on here is a big help (hubby is too :O) Lots and lots of luck to you--sending you *********BABY DUST**********
