My ivf journey !

well today i am cd38 and 13dpo according to fertility friend however 20dpo according to my records, and i have been having on and off sort of funny crampy things not like normal af cramps but this morning i had a little wipe and there was a very very very faint brownish mark - no blood - i have never had this before but i guess there is always a first time.

i am expecting af to be in full flow tomorrow however my temps are still quite high, my monitor packed up this month so i am really unsure as to where i am in my cycle.

i will update you all later if af does in fact arrive but i am really keeping my fingers crossed it dont.

Well the forms have only been sent a few days ago and today we got our consultation appointment :)

However it falls slap bang in the middle of our holiday 1st July, 2008 i have called and managed to get another short notice appointment for 10th July, 2008 due to someone else cancelling, gosh i am so excited !!!!!

Can anyone please advise me as to what they might discus as I am now getting very anxious now it has finally happened ???

Hi Ladypink, I am really happy for u!! How exciting!! U are now on the right road to ttc. I am on my first cycle of ivf, next week is my retrieval...so if u have any questions, let me know:)

I had an u/s today....the follies are still growing, I will know next week after retrieval how many that will be put back. Retrieval should be next Monday or Tuesday. Ladypink, I think IVF will work for you!! When will u start?

well the waiting list is about 8 weeks for private treatment but i have to lose some weight i have lost 6lb in two weeks thanks carolyn for your optimism this is really our last chance as we can only afford one go

just focus on walking and losing weight for eight weeks. Just ten pounds lost, can make a difference in your BMI. Keep me posted!!

Hi Ladypink, Sorry I haven't been on this site for a few days...anyway. Today I go for a u/s to see how many follies I have and my RE said last week that probably this Wednesday I have the retrieval. Three to five days after ret. they do the transfer!!! I am nervous!! I hope and pray to God that I have success. If you have any questions about the ivf process I am here to help u ladypink:) THere are a LOT of injections, so be prepared!!

another 1lb lost this week making the total loss to 7lb - 1/2 stone which means my bmi has dropped from 35 to 33 in three weeks, i really need to get it as low as i can before my appt on 10th july in order that i have the best chance of being accepted for the treatment i just only hope they dont say i have to wait as we have the money all saved and just waiting for the off !

Well the monitor worked this month and i have had peak yesterday and today so bd here we come - o day is slightly later than normal but not as late as last time - my ivf appt is less than a week away and i am so so very excited !!!!!

yeh i was quite surprised had to do the tests in the caravan bit tricky as the bath room was pretty small but i have also had the ewcm so it must be on its way
