I LOVE our house.. I actually designed it myself! atleast the inside! I found the outside that I wanted and made a floor plan to fit!

The dormers have to go on yet- but the house has been on hold for a few weeks- we are waiting for windows! but they should be here tomorrow!

Isn't building A LOT of work!?! I can hardly believe all the little stuff one has to pick out- lightswtich covers, ceiling fans, hardware... lol some of the stuff I just don't really care about lol!

I know, our last appointment with the builders, they said it would be about 1 1/2 hours and we were there for almost 4... Picking out the flooring and all the colors.. Different fans and lights...So many options... I can't wait to see it finished... We drive by every weekend and peek in the windows...

Here's a pic of ours.... Although I'd much rather have yours!!, lol... But price wise this was the best for what we could afford...So I'm so excited to move in...

I love the new houses ladies, very nice! Cant wait to see them done and fully landscaped.

We just got done having ours built. Thankfully we didnt have to pick out all that stuff, but will when we build our final home. We sold our first house and it wasnt on the market, so we had a month basically to find a place and move, and this one was being built with everything picked out, and we loved most of it, few minor adjustments that we have done but still it was great.

This is our second to last house and will be here for about 7 years or so, then building our dream home and done.

We had just got finished remodeling our first house, I picked out everything hubby did all the work. It was beautiful when it was done on the inside.

Here is our new home, well we are all moved into it, I lost my freaking camera charger in the move and havent been able to take updated pictures, im sooo mad, but will get them soon.

Wow- you remodeled! That must have been a headache! Hubby and I were going to do that- but we figured it was easier to start over- and for us it was actually cheaper to build than to remodel! we are in a very very old home now- Lee (hubby) great great someone built the house- it's over 100 years old! crazy huh? We are building on our land- our current house is literally within throwing distance to the new house. We are out in the country. Once the new home is done the current one is getting torn down! It was nice because we can use our existing well and septic- since that is pretty new (7 years I think)

Lisa, that sounds like the way to go with building on your own land.. Thats where alot of the money comes from is buying the land.. I see you come from a small town in Wisconsin.. Me too!, my hometown, Orfordville only has around 1000, and our neighbor town, Footville I believe only has about 800..

Lisa yeah it was a headache, BIG headache remodeling but it was an older house and was well worth it, especially for what we made off of it. It needed to be done, and we wanted to do it, no intention on moving that quickly though, but hey someone walked through, and loved it and was dead set to move into that neighborhood, made an offer and we sold it. It was great especially with the housing market being at what it is now, I truely believe we sold it for 10,000 more then we should have with the market being bad. Im soo happy.

Tanya I have myspace as well, I use myspace more, but both have the pictures on there :)
