So, my journey began in July 2008 when (at age 27) I was diagnosed via Lap with stage-IV endometriosis (severe).
I have kissing ovaries and 2 cysts on either ovary (one 8cm on the left and another growing inside the right ovary?!)
I've been TTC since I was diagnosed (my RE suggested we start as soon as possible), with no success.
This past month the RE said that IVF would be the only way I'd conceive. *devastated*
And so, this is how my journey began.
My DH had a SA and it turns out he has a low sperm count. Which gives me hope that IVF really is the solution for us.
I had an EMB on May 26th and I was positive for integrins *yeeeey*. So that's a good sign.
I started with the Lupron shots on July 1. And now I'm waiting for AF to show up so I can get checked and see when I start stims.
This year has been a rollercoaster of emotions. In less than a year I went from thinking I was a completely healthy 27 y/o... to being a human pincushion and spending days sticking needles into my stomach and buttox. It's really difficult, but not impossible. God never gives us more than we can chew. I only pray that I don't have to do this twice and that my first IVF will be successful.
Thanks for taking the time to read my story and I'm sending everyone prayers and a bunch of Baby Dust!!!!
