Erin- Definately call the doctor.. I also had this with jacob.. 35 weeks.. no movement for hours.. I tried it all.. went to L& D and they put me onthe monitors.. thankfully he was moving, I just could not feel him.. I am sure Alayna is too..but always better to call :) Keep us posted
My baby isnt moving enough today

Ok, I may be being paranoid...but I dont think so. I am 40w1d - and today I feel like the baby has not moved nearly enough. I felt her move around a little bit much earlier (around noon) - but since then I havent noticed any activity. I drank a big cup of sweetened decaf ice tea about 25 minutes ago to try to get her moving, but so far, nothing. I am poking and prodding my belly with no luck. Is this normal??

I DO NOT want to scare you- or anyone else on here- but a friend of mine who was due July 9th noticed that her son was not moving around very much- but decided to wait a couple days before going in and when she went in they found the baby had died. Just two weeks before her due date a nasty blood clot got caught in the umbilical cord. So please go in- I know that what happened to my friend is not very common- but it's better to err on the side of being overcautious...
