My Baby has dropped down means what

it does not mean you will deliver in 1 - 2 weeks. with my 1st pregnancy, my son dropped into position and was there for about 6 - 8 weeks if i remember correctly. they all get into place at differnt times. i was also dilated and that meant nothing either! how far along are you? it is a good thing that the baby is in position and dropped down, but i think they can stay there for a while. best of luck to you.

36 weeks.I really want to have him till 38th.

did your ob check your cervix?

at 36 weeks i was dilating and didnt have my son til week 42 when i induced him out.

they all come when they are ready i guess.

if this is your first baby, your ob will probably let nature take its course and not induce you. (unless there is a medical reason for it).

usually 1st time moms, they dont induce. at least at my obs practice. 2nd time or with a medical reason of course they do.
