My 1st IUI journey

hey katie82 iv been reading your post and i wanted to say im sorry about ugly AF i just went for my iui on sun so im in the waiting game this was my 4th iui the first one was with no meds the 2nd & 3rd 50mg of clomid i was going to start 100mg of clomid this cycle but do to a cyst we did the iui with no meds my dh # were so good this month 23.3 million and 91% motility so even though we didnt do clomid im still hoping this will be it for us. Its been so long im feeling numb to with the whole ttc good luck at the doc cant wait to here about you journy through iui. Are you taking any meds?

Lele.. yes I will be doing Femara CD5-9 and Gonal F injectables from CD9 until the doc tells me to stop. Then I will do the HCG trigger shot to release the eggs.

As soon as AF comes full flow then Im calling the doc. Should be sometime today. She is getting darker.

Thanks Amy.. I really hope so too. I think if this IUI cycle doesnt work for me then I will not be on FT as much. I think I need to breathe alittle bit but U ladies still have me for a bit since Im only CD1.

I 1st U/S and B/W is on 10/10. I have to be there between 8-9:30am.

I thought that today was CD2 but they said that since I got full flow after 5pm then today is CD1.

Here we goooo!!!!!

Tomorrow I go for my baseline U/S and B/W and I start my Femara. My Femara cost $54.00 and the Gonal F, HCG trigger, progesterone supports cost me $376.40.

The baseline U/S and B/W will got $220.00 tomorrow. Wow with all of this money Im spending out this damn thing better work.

I will update on my U/S tomorrow when I come back from the doc.

wow kaite thats alot of money but i know it will be worth it at the ends

Jenn, actually that's cheap compared to what I've been qouted/paid for in the past.

really! i dont know how much iui cost here..but for ivf it is 13,800.00 ahh so i told dh i'm gonna brake the bank lol..i might call around to see how much it is here but wont get to do iui tell next year

Ladies.. that is just for the 1 appt and the meds and thats it.

I will post everything as I go so u all can see how much everything is costing me.. grrr!

My RE must charge more here & the meds I have cost more, so maybe that's why your's cost less. Good luck w/ur appt!

Update: Had my 1st U/S and B/W... My lining is 5.3mm and I have 13 follicles in each ovary. So now I just wait to see what my B/W has to say. I started my Femara today and in a few days I will start my Gonal F.

Today's bill was $467.00. I thought that it was only going to be $280.00 but boy was I wrong. LOL!

So today is a sad and happy day for me. 1 year mark since the rubal reversal and good news at the docs.

yeah it will kaite dont worry..and thats a lot of money but like i said it ia all worth it at the end..and as i see how much u have spent already lol i'm gonna half to save up every penny i get lol no on has still told me anything if they do iui here so i guess i'm gonna half to call louisville ky to see what i can find there

Oh and my meds were $358.40 and $63.00 for the Femara and that was just for todays bill.. DAMN!!!

I wanna follow your journey!! I hate spending money like that, but in the end, it will be totally worth it for you. :)
