Mucus thinners

Can mucinex and other mucus thinners cause the lining of your uterus to thin?

i didn't know mucinex had any effect on your uterine lining. Mucinex is good for cervical mucus though.. makes more egg white cervical mucus which aids the sperm in traveling through your cervix and onto its way to meet the egg.

i was just wondering i was sick and taking mucinex every 4 hours and then when i go to the doc they tell me my lining is thin. i was just worried i made it that way because i was taking so much mucinex...lol! im very paranoid...i guess.

thanks for the info.

well.. just take the regular mucinex if you're doing it for CM. i have no idea if there's any correlation b/t uterine lining thinning b/c of it though. maybe dr. q will weigh in on this.

As far as I know, shouldn't affect the lining of the uterus (endometrial cavity), but don't believe this has been studied...
