morpholgy and clomid?
July 20, 2008
My Dh has a 1% morphology *kruger's strick), motility of 73% and a tatal motile count of 130 and a total sperm count of 178 (i would assume that is 178 million since it said right next to it (10 and then a teeny tiny 6) and im wondering if clomid can help him. If it increases the total count then wouldnt it give us a better chance of conceiving if he has more sperm even if only 1% of them are good?
Thx a ton

Clomid does help if men are diagnosed with a condition called hypogonadotropic hypogonadism...In men with low sperm counts who have this condition, then Clomid will definately help.
However, many men have low sperm counts that are unexplained (or at least don't have this condition), thus clomid would not necessarily help these men...
the above infor is from the post "clomid for men"...then it says IVF+ICIS would be the best...
