Monthly reoccurring Yeast Infection, will it affect my IVF Cycle?

These past 3 months, a few days (3) before my period is expected, pale yellow CM starts appearing. It starts getting more yellowy/itchy until my period appears. Then it disappears once my period starts. It happened the first month and I just let it go. But last month, I used some monistat..which was fine but a waste because once my period starts it's gone. Now it's starting up again. I'm debating if I should see my RE or GYN since I'm taking a break from TTC. I'm not diabetic...recent blood work was fine but I've been taking metformin for PCOS. I'm a little worried about this and how it will effect my IVF cycle.
