Miscarriage

Hi doc!

How many miscarriages and or chemical pregnancies would be 'allowed' to go by before we should seek infertility help??

my RE doenst consider any issues until you have 2 m/c in a row. Normally it is 3 m/c in a row tho before they start testing you for problems.

You can see a fertility doc tho b4 having any m/c's.

Well, I have had 1 m/c and what I believe to have been 1 chemical pregnancy. I am looking for answers and opinions while I wait to go to the doctor. I have an appointment for this Monday to try and get blood work done confirming weather or not I was/am pregnant. I took seven or more hpt and they all came up w/faint positive results, then 2 days ago I experienced very similar symptoms to my earlier miscarriage & now the hpt i took yesterday showed up w/increasingly faint lines. I opted not go to the ER because I have not yet had a Dr. confirm my pregnancy, and bc w/my first m/c the ER was not much more than stress b/c there was nothing they could do to prevent or stop a m/c... doctors can be very frustrating at times...

When I do go to the Dr. do you suggest any questions or tests I should ask or have her run?

ask her to test your progesterone 7 days after ovulation to make sure that you have a high enough level to sustain a pregnancy.

YOur tests should get darker every 48 hours but if you are not using the same tests/brand then your results could be different so try not to worry too much.
