Miconazole and Mucous plug

Hi Hope..don't know two of the questions..but you would have seen blood or brown tinged in the mucous if it was the mucous plug. It is also really gooy and slimy..you probably would have known.

The mucus plug for all intensive purposes is of little clinical significance for Ob/Gyns...

The 3 cm I'm assuming is the internal Os, which is the accurate reading, and not the external Os of the cervix (big difference)...If only the external Os, again of little clinical significance, if internal, then that's the true value..

The miconazole is usually said to be Ok to use..

I say you have this baby within the week! The mucus plug can be greyish in color and have pink or red blood in it. Some women actually feel a big blob come out and others lose theirs bits at a time. When you lose it, you'll see the difference between that and the pregnancy discharge you and I both have been having. When I lost my plug I went in to labor 6 hours later but I was also contracting all night the previous night.

I think the Dr would have broken it she was so rough lol with the internal exam.
