I read in another post of urs that metformin doesn't help alot used alone when ttc. My question is, I have pcos and am ttc, I have O'ed from the clomid and am moving on to iui, but wouldn't metformin be good for overall health?
Yes, metformin is given for people with insulin resistance with PCOS, so long as there's no liver/kidney problems...
It can be given alongside Clomid to help address this issue along with ovulation...but for it to help one ttc by itself, metformin is not as efficient..
