menstruation problems

Hi! I've never had regular periods. i take prometrium 2x a day for 5 days each month to start my period. this makes my cycles 38 days and i cant tell if i ovulate or not. I am currently on cd23. i get pain in my ovaries around day 15 and then i had them again on day 19-21. I chart my BBT and my temps are normally 96.7. how can i check to see if im ovulating or not?

Sounds like you don't ovulate to begine with...if all your fertility tests are normal, then best to ask your doc about meds such as Clomid or injectable gonadotropins
