Medications? Too much of the same thing??

My doctor has me taking Prometrium to start my period. Then, on day one of my cycle I am to start taking provera. Then, on day 3 I start clomid. Day 7-21 I am supposed to take premarin.... what do you think about all of this???
I've heard that the prometrium and provera are like the same thing basically... so how does this work? Is my doctor right.. or crazy?

Provera and Prometrium are both Progesterone supplements and although given through different routes, basically work the same way...your doc is prolonging your interval to take the clomid since your taking a long dose of progesterone without much reason.
The premarin (estrogen) can be given during this time for lining purposes and this is being administered correctly (you can look similar stuff I've written about this on this site by searching). I think you may want to have a little talk with your doc about the combined use of these progestational agents, and to only use one of them
