and one more question what type of panties felt best after a csection? cotton? silky? or did you just use the hospt. mesh throw away panties? how long do you bleed after a cesction?

Vera,honestly i used those mesh panties the hossy gave me and they sucked,lmao....i went and bought 'Prevails' pull-up paper panties, they were gr8t! It was a pain when it was time to change them but worth it...i got no leaks...i didnt trust my own undies with a pad....its alot heavier then a period.....:-)

Any panty felt like thorns seriously they made me sore along the crease line. I had to go to the hospital and get the mesh panties, super light, disposable and so comfy, I felt fine no leaks. I also got a pack of extra huge hospital grade pads. Infact the hospital gave me the diapers to use the 1st 2 days lol. So, you can try what Karen says. Regular pads from the store was really of no use. U can request the hospital for extra pads.

Yes, ask for extra pads from the hospital. I had very little bleeding but I asked for some anyway and they gave me like 6 of the very large ones and a whole pack of the smaller ones. They also gave me like a week worth of diapers, wipes and formula... all you have to do is ask!

I had 2 vaginal births..but I agree. I liked the mesh panties from the hospital esp to go with those huge pads. After that I stuck with regular Always w/ wings b/c if you are resting a lot they don't move around. I loved Tucks, but you are having c section, so won't need that. Oh, and I bought some of the new Hanes wedgie free undies after that. I didn't want to ruin my Vicy Secrets!

yeah im just gonna buy some hanes cotton panties that are cheap o.... not ruin my good panties... did yah wear the hospt. gowns the whole time? or did u change into ur own gowns or lounge clothes? i have heard ppl say they bleed so much they stuck with the hospt gowns.

I was more comfy in my own clothes..work out..lounge type clothes! Make sure they are kind of baggy just in case :)

i wore my own clothes but at night i wore a hossy gown...im bringing everything of my own this time,lol

I hated the hospital gowns, too shabby, many slits and openings. They are no doubt comfy, esp if u have stitches down there, they will want to check you every now and then and with the bleed, pants are messy, but the hospital gowns are ugly in pics.

I would take a new set of clothes, not pants,but at least a nice blouse or shirt or something to wear on top of the hospital gown at least for pics.
