March IVF

Hi Petersmom, we are doing our first IVF also. We have a DD who was born 12/7/2003 and this IVF would give us another Dec baby. It's funny because our DD is 12/7, my DH is 12/8 and my dad is 12/26. So December is a very busy month for us. Love Christmas Time!!!

Our retrieval is scheduled for 3/30 to 4/3 which is close to yours. I started Lupron on 3/6. No BCPs. I just go AF yesterday and was told I'll probably start Bravelle and Menopur this coming Fri. 3/20. I'm having a biopsy done tomorrow 3/17. So that's where I'm at.

Hey, maybe we could be IVF buddies with you being first? LOL

I would love that. Hopefully not only IVF buddies, but also pregnancy buddies as well. Good luck and lots of baby dust going your way. It's funny you had you son almost exactly one year after my son was born (12/2/02)

same to you. My daughter is 5 going on 15. And I thought terrible 2s was bad. LOL

Today I went for blood work and u/s. They saw some follicles in both ovaries but my right ovary which was barely visible when we begun the process is still very small. I am nervous about that. My e2 level was 463 from 111 two days ago. I don't know if this is good or not. My re said it was good and my gonal f was moved from 187 to 112.5 for the next two days. The journey goes on. I have an appointment on Thursday morning.

Sounds like you are doing well and responding to the meds. Your E2 sounds good, it will continue to rise as follies get bigger. Meds were probably lowered a little so that they can slow down the growth a bit. Do you know how many and what any of the sizes the follies are?
