male infertility and increasing sperm count
I just found out my husbands sperm count is low. The dr suggests he go on clomid or we try invetro. We got pregnant once 4 years ago when i got off birth control. Why did his sperm count drop since then and why cant we get pregnant? is there anything we can use to boost his count? His diet hasnt changed(actually he eats better and exercises a lot). what can we do to boost his count?

Yes the urologist said the clomid would be for him. Although his hormone levels were normal, it may increase the sperm count and motility. The dr checked for variocele as well and said he does not have this. All blood work came back looking good as well. So looks like clomid and invetro are our only two options. We even took Fertilaid for men and women and that doesnt seem to be doing anything for him...
Ren, my DH had a terrible sperm count, bad morphology, and bad motility. The dr pretty much said we wouldn't get pregnant. My husband quit drinking mountain dew so much starting last Oct. He also started taking natural supplements from Standard Process through our chiropractors. In April we found out we were pregnant with absolutely no iui's or IVF treatments. I did clomid but had taken my last dose back in Dec so that didn't have anything to do with it. I say lots of prayer and the supplements and not drinking mountain dew did it. I think if you go back and read some of my other posts you can see my DH's semen analysis results. Let me know if I can be of any help. Loads of BABY DUST!!
