Male factor fertility question regarding foreskin and jelly like semen/sperm

Julie, I'd have him checked by his doctor. The foreskin shouldn't become unattached that far down. I wonder if he has an infection. The jelly like semen, I've seen this in my exhusband and he was okay but again have him checked. I also don't like that he is in pain when he is having sex. I'm not sure why any doc would let that continue.

It's never a bad idea to be checked by a Urologist like Sar says

What your DH is undergoing can be painful and wish I could help more, maybe there's some surgical correction, but again a Urologist would know much more about this

hmmm yeah we mentioned to the urologist about the foreskin thing and he said it was nothing to worry about but Im thinking it is, jst didnt know if I was worring over nothing tho. He only has this pain whn the foreskin does its crazy little thing.

Shanes coming with me today to our gp so might get him to give him a once over coz we cant see any of his specialist for a few wks.

Maybe you need a new urologist for a second opinion cause seriously, the foreskin should not loosen up and roll down like you're describing.

Well our gp checked shane over and told us to him everything looks to be ok but did tell us to mention it to the ivf andrologist when we see him. He also said to take some pics next time it happens so the dr can have a better idea of what is going on. Shanes a little freaked out by the photo thing tho but he said if it finds out whats going on he'll do it....we cant see the andrologist for like 4wks tho which will be whn we see him for the most recent "trial wash/sa" results

Flutter- its a good idea to photo the foreskin, and the GP is right- If a doc can see it, then he might be able to better assist you- I agree with Sarah, this should not happen- and maybe the Urologist does not know what you mean.. I am sure it will be embarassing.... but maybe you will get answers-

Off topic- somewhat related- Jacob has a strawberry allergy- when we went to the allergist- he told us its very odd for a child to have this allergy and not related to any other foods- he basically did not believe me when I told him his face blew up-

So the next time it happened I took pictures, brought them in and said "THERE! You see I was not making it up" He couldn't believe it, and kept the pics and added them to his file- Thankfully he finally believed us (After proof!) and we got an Epi Pen.. But sometimes these Docs ( Nothing against Dr Q or Eva..) just do not believe us!

Thata exactly what Ive been thinking Caryn. The urologist probly just did not beleive us on how bad it was.

We now have one of our digital cameras ready and waiting beside the bed to take the pic when the time comes. Coz like I said to shane, yes I can understand it being embaressing but at the end of the day we can print the pic off at home and only us and the dr will see it and we will delete it of the camera and comp once it has been printed of for the dr. I would NEVER let a pic like that fall into the wrong hands. Now all we got to do is hope that it happens again before we see the dr. I would love for it to never happen again tho but at the end of the day we need it to happen at least one more time so we can proove it all to the dr's....

Omg Caryn I cant believe the dr didnt believe you about Jacobs allergy. They did the same thing to my mum when I was a baby. My mum said I was allergic to eggs coz every time she gave me egg casturd or anything with eggs in it I'd turn blue and stop breathing and end up being rushed to hospital. They would run every test on me possible to try wrk out what was happening tome but never find anything and always put it down to a freak thing. Meanwhile my mum kept telling them it was everytime I had eggs or egg products. Eventually they believed her when I was inhospital for my cleft palete operation whn I was 9months old. Coz a nurse gave me egg custurd and I turned blue etc. They never gave us an epi pen jst told mum not to feed me stuff with eggs. Easier said then done with a small child who loved birthday cake etc but evently my allergy started to correct itself sought off and now I jst cant have eggs but can have them if they are in cakes etc but for some reason cant take meds with egg products coz I end up having the same reaction I did as a baby....
