Shawnee,u can ask ur Dr abt getting on Provera to bring abt ur period or u can get on BCP, which I dont think you may want to if ur still gonna TTC.

THe prob with provera could be, if ur TTC, it may interfere with ovulation coz u are irregular and never know when u may O without Clomid/femara

Can I take prevara every month tho?

Yes you can talk to your Dr about taking provera every month. But that wont make u ovulate.

thanks hope. it definitely won't make me ovulate? I was hoping maybe the combination of metformin to ovulate and provera to give me a period would work??? Hopefully the metformin will assist me in losing a few pounds and then my periods will be regular, I hear losing weight can help regulate periods.

Shawnee, No one knows if one with already existing irregular menses will ovulate without meds or not. U can ovulate say once in 2-3 months, u may never..but if u really have no choice but to go on provera, the least u can do is have regular sex and do your BBT. BBT will atleats tell u if u Ovulated or not whenever that happens. Yes WEight loss can help. Who knows if thats the problem like mine, weight loss + Metformin can get u ovulate..
