Could a luteal phase defect be caused by stress? And is it true that clomid may have a negative effect on those that already ovulate but have a LPD, in regard to pregnancy chances?
The Luteal Phase is the second half of your cycle. LPD defect is basically when the uterine lining does not match up to where it is supposed to be..either making it hard to get or to stay pregnant. Did you have an endo biopsy? On mine, they found that while I was on day 24 of my cycle that my uterine lining was on day 19. So, very off. I am not sure if all have symptoms, but mine was that after I came the pill, my period was regular but never returned to the same type. Ex..duration, cramping, flow. It was just diff...TMI, but very light and the maybe two days of a real period. for 9 months it was like that. Been on clomid for 2 months and I did have a more regular period, yet could just be the clomid. I did conceive quickly the first time, so I am not sure what happened to between now and then!
