Looking for women using donor sperm

Hi Ladies... Sad to report that today was a BFN!! I told the nurse that at this point I need a break. I feel at this time adoption is my next Journey in becoming a mom. I want to thank you all for wishing me the best.. I wish the same for all of you!!

Dragonfly-I am sorry for your BFN. Listen to your body, if you need a break, take a break. You deserve to be a mom, so however you get there I wish you the best! ((hugs))

Hope-

I have never heard of a HCG booster. It's crazy how different one clinic is from the next. Another 10 days to wait?? Urghhh...hang in there.

AFM-

No symptoms. I have mild cramping on and off. I have to admitt that it is much more mild than other cycles. Usually by 9dpo I am thinking AF will be here any second...however I was on different meds so I am sure that could make AF different. I was wishing for a huge pregnancy symptom today..my bbs dont even hurt..not even tender or swollen.

Dragonfly- please stay in touch. I too am heading toward that journey. Maybe we need to find an adoption blog???

Colette- Maybe because I am 35 or because I had a miscarriage. I guess the hcg shot helps with implantaion- gives the uterus a boost. I am trying not to look for symptoms because it only drives you crazy. Most people have told me they did not feel anything until after their AF was missed or week 6/7. So don't be discouraged. I think we will test around the same time...I will be praying for a double bfp!!!!!!

Hope-

I have a blood test on Wed. I usually never make it to the blood test because AF shows ( I guess I save some money there...lol).

I am getting kinda stressed out this time. We have a 10k lifetime max coverage on fertility...we only have about one cycle left. I want to keep doing this till it works..within reason I guess. After no more coverage, ultrasounds, blood work and all RE visits are not covered. I just don't think we will be able to afford to keep going.

So with that said..I am also praying for a double BFP for you and I this month! Wishing you tons of baby dust!

Hope - I will definatly stay in touch. I have my first appt tomorrow with a social worker to begin my home study. I have been recomened to a few adoption agencys and need to choose one. I have also been doing alot of research and found on Blog Spot all kinds of stories on adoption that just warmed my heart! I am looking forward to my adoption from Russia and finally becoming a mom. Hope you get your BFP!

Dragon fly- Our best friends just got back from Russia with thier toddler girl. So cute. Not sure where you are in the US, but I will check to see if they would recommend thier agency. I live in central Ohio. We are going to do domestic, just becasue of the cost. We hope to do the home study in the summer. There is a few things we have to fix in our house (we got a fixer upper last year...and STILL fixin'!)

Colette- try not to put so much pressure on yourself. It will work out...somehow. We all feel the pinch of the wallet each time. You will get your bfp!!!

Hope - I live in a suburb of Detroit Michigan. I actually had a friend recomend a center to get started and he had adopted a toddler girl from China. The center is doing my homestudy. Let me know what your friends say.

Hey girls..keep posting your adoption details. It's something we have also considered. I would love to hear more about what home studys are about.
