Looking for cycle buddies: CD 2, starting Clomid CD5
September 24, 2008
I am CD 2 and starting Clomid in 3 days. I will be taking 50 mg days 5-9. I usually ovulate on my own, however last cycle with the "help" of Clomid it did not happen for me. I am looking for a cycle buddy or buddies so we can encourage and share stories and hopefully symptoms!! Good luck ladies!
Thanks girls! I am doing alright, just waiting to start Clomid again, and hoping it will do its job this time! I talked to my doctor today, and told him I did not O last cycle, but he told me to continue on with the 50 mg/day CD 5-9 since I did O the cycle before without any meds. Good luck Meg and Amanda, let's hope we all see those BFP's this month!! Do either one of you have kids already?
MrsStacy-Good luck to you! I too am hoping Oct. is THE month for all of us! I thought for sure we had hit the mark this month but AF came yesterday. I will be starting Clomid tomorrow CD3-7 for a second round. Keep us posted!
Hi James- Babydust to you and to everyone! Let me know how you are doing on the Clomid.
Good luck to you Jenn! Did you take Clomid before or did doc put you on Femara instead?

Hi ladies, how is everyone doing? Well, I am on CD 11 today, so getting closer!! My boyfriend had an emergency appendectomy on Sunday, so I hope he will be recovered in time to get busy!! I asked him last night if he thinks he will be and he just laughed, I don't know if that was a good sign or a bad sign...anyway, I have an appointment Oct. 30th to talk about LAP if I'm not pg by then, and if I am, it will be the confirmation!! Let's hope it's that one! =D Good luck to you ladies!
Hi James - sorry to hear about your DH and his emergency appendectomy! I'm cd 11 today as well, and amazingly enough, DH and I will have a similar problem this month as my DH goes in tomorrow for shoulder surgery! He too laughed when I asked him if he would be up to the BD task in time, and said it would be no problem. So we shall see - I'm optimistic=).
My follie study was really good this month, so I am hoping that DH does end up feeling up to his BD'ing duties! Keep me updated!!

Hi James - so sorry to hear that your cycle this month was a bad one! That is so frustrating - ugh - I totally feel for you!
Like I mentioned in my previous post, my DH had surgery this month too, and he has been in a ton of pain so I felt HORRIBLE asking him to BD when I got my + OPK, but I was lucky, and he was really good about it and told me that us having a baby was more important to him than having extra pain for a couple of hours. We only BD'd twice - once on the day I got the + OPK, and once on the day after, but hopefully that was enough to give us a good chance this month. We will just have to wait and see.
And just FYI - I've noticed that once you ovulate, many of the ladies on here go to the two week wait thread. I think the name of it for this month is Two week wait for October - revised. You can search for it though - I put in TWW October, and looked for the thread with the most recent posts (like most recently updated one day ago, or 1 hour ago, etc.). I found Peejay and some of the other ladies we were chatting with earlier in the month on that thread.
So, how long are your cycles normally? Mine are usually about 31-32 days, but last month it was only 28 days. . . I'm just curious whether we will be close in our cycles each month, or if us being cycle buddies was a lucky occurence this month:).
