Late period then only 2 days?

I was 3 days late for my period and it only lasted 2 days, usually I get it EXACTLY every 24 days and it lasts for 6 days w/some brown spotting on day 8 or 9. My breasts hurt all the time right now and I am more tired than usual. Is this all normal? I have been trying to get pregnant for 2 and 1/2 years w/5 failed months of clomid in between and now I'm just trying to take it easy and not stress over it all.

unless you check a pregnancy test we won't know and may be worthwhile since your breasts are still tender

with my first baby a it took me 13.5 weeks before a test came out positive

I took a home test this morning and it was negative

After I took the home pg test, I had some spotting, but just a little and then the same thing about 24 hrs later, just a small amount of spotting.
