late ovulation/clomid

I am on day 19 of my cycle. Took clomid 50mg days 5-9. Ovary pain since day 14. According to OPK no ovulation yet....started testing day 8. little or no mucous. Could ovulation be soooooo delayed? normally my cycle is 28 days or so. What is the the longest time people ovulate on clomid?

Oh another thing little or no mucous all cycle. I have read that is normal but still think it is strange that I am on day 19.....still no ovulation

Hi Daniella,

Maybe ovulation was missed, and the best way to know if you have ovulated would be to either check BBTs to see if you're above the cover line (>98F) or get a blood Progesterone level

I pressed send accidentally....what day of my cycle is it possible to still ovulate sfter clomid? I am on day 21 and still the OPT did not go off.....started testing on day 8. Thank you.

Hi daniela, on my last clomid cycle I didn't ovulate until cd 25, but I hav very long cycles anyway. not sure if this helps you or not. This cycle my dose has been increased to 150mg and I had a positive OPK on CD 15 but no temp rise. It's very confusing!

Dear Boo1, Thanks for responding. It is confusing. i was put on 50mg but I am not sure that I was not ovulating before starting on clomid. It was comforting to know that there are women who have very late ovulation on clomid. I wish you well
