Ladies look at my chart please

October 27, 2007

This is my first time and am wondering how my chart looks to everyone and if you agree with when the chart says I ovulated, I thought I had ovulated on cd15. Also, according to the chart my temp has dropped below the coverline once, is this normal? Thanks for your advice.

Im not really sure what to think. Do you know if you happen to sleep with your mouth open or anthing??? Are you taking it at the same time every morning????

Im sorry im not of much help.

Because I would save ovulation could have happened CD15, or CD20 or CD22....im confused though.

The only reason I say CD22 is because of the huge spike, but agian im not sure.

Why didnt you continue taking the OPKs past CD12 and 13 if you dont mind me asking???

Im starting my OPKs CD8 again this cycle, which is today, and until I get a positive and also taking temps, just so I know for sure by 2 things that I ovulated.

Best wishes sweetie and here is my chart from last cycle (which I started on CD12, becuase that was my first round with Clomid and the past months I wasnt ovulating at all so I gave up, but I knew what my temps were looking like, so I was safe to start on CD12, meant to start sooner but forgot), and also chart from this cycle. Anyways I hope its of some help to you.

Hi Misty,

You must have ovulated CD 15 because it is consistant with Egg White CM and after that, you started getting White CM which is consistant with Progesterone after ovulation.

Since this is your first time tracking BBT, looks like it has not been taken properly. BBTs are really not the best way to track ovulation. OPKs are. BBT can confirm a + OPK and basically tell you how your progesterone is doing after OPKs.

If that is the only fertility tracker you are using, then measure it the first thing in the morning as soon as you open your eyes. Remember Room Temperature, lack of sleep, etc can influence the accuracy of a BBT

Best Wishes

Thank you Jolene and Hope. I sleep with my mouth closed and take my temp first thing every morning at 6:30. I took several opks just didn't put them in the system since they were negative or I couldn't tell if they were positive. I had a couple last weekend that were pretty dark just not quite as dark as the control line.

If they werent quite as dark as the control line, then the posibility of not ovulating this cycle may be the case, but im praying its not.

What kinds of OPKs are you using???

Also the only reason I ever do my BBT is one to also have a second thing to let me know I ovulated, and 2 because after ovulation to see what my temps are doing, kind of trying to cheat so I dont have to take a HPT until my temps stay high for like 14 days straight or so.

Best wishes sweetie!!

I was using the Answer brand. I had an u/s that showed 10 follicles and the largest at the time was 16, the dr said there was no reason for me not to ovulate. She gave me the charts and wants me to bring them with me to every appointment.

Hmm then you probably did ovulate im sure, temps arent very accurate because so much plays into them being inaccurate.

now with the answer brand did you get the ones you have to pee in a cup and dip them in it for like 10 seconds or the ones that you pee directly on??? If its the first ones, then you may have gotten a positive the day you said it was very close. For some reason the Test line on those doesnt go all the way across dark when they are positive. I tested with those and ones you pee directly one (those werent Answer), anyways I did an answer strip one afternoon and it was pretty dark but to me not as dark as the control, so I also did my other one too, and guess what POSITIVE. Sooooo......you really could have had a positive, and its just that the strips arent that great. I didnt buy them this go around, just the ones you pee on, they really do work much better I think.

Lots of love sweetie and best wishes, I hope you possibly have a little one in the oven :)

Thank you Jolene you have been very helpful. I used the kind that you pee on. I did some research online and found that sometimes the opk will be positive if it has 65% color that is why it is so confusing to me. My opk was like 90% color. Thanks again
