yup, the best thing is to see no fragments but i dont know how often they actaully see that. lol!

Kinda scared

As most (or all) of you know I am going thru my 2nd round of IVF and had the transfer of 3 embryos last week Wed on day 3 for the embryos. None of them were all that great, they all had fragments but 2 of them had quite a few and the embryologist said that none of them were of great quality which is why they wanted them in on day 3 - anyway, the reason I am a bit scared is cuz after having 8 eggs fertilize and 3 transferred none of the others made it to the freezing mark. So, we have 3 crappy embryos transferred and none to freeze..... im not too down or depressed about it, kinda just scared that again it wont work and again we don’t have any frozen to transfer. Its overwhelming thinking about it right now. Im not dwelling on it or thinking its over, just a bit scared and needed to vent.

my doc says that we have no idea what we looked like as embryos so no need to think it wont work. He says that we could have been all frangments instead of having the perfect cells splitting so not to worry.
He's a funny guy, he said the "fragments are like cookie crumbs" whatever that means but i was looped up on valuim so it was funny and made sense then! lol!
