When are you both going to get a pregnancy test? My appt. date is Sept15th. Not sure if I could wait till then. lol. when r u guys planning to do a HPT?Hope this is the big month for all 3 of us. Are you both experiencing any pregnancy symptoms at all? did you guys have an IUI cycle before?

Anyways, today, I noticed clear discharge when i woke up in the morning.So, I assume I ovulated today.Hope there is enough sperm inside to attack my egg.lol. Now i am sooo conscious about my egg that I am acting funny. I am walking slowly, not moving too much like I am protecting my egg , from God knows what.lol. My hubby was having fun watching me act silly, today morning.

Since I am only 5DPO I have a long ways to go. But I am going to try my hardest and not test until at least 14DPO. If AF doesn't show up by 14DPO then I'll test. We'll see though

I didn't do IUI, just clomid this cycle. If this cycle doesn't work then I will be moving to IUI next cycle.

If af doesn't show, i'll test on sept. 10. all i did was opk for 11 days to pinpoint ovul. then the closest we bd to ovul. was 2 days before and 2 days after. its a long shot, but it may happen. next month i won't be so lazy about bding...lol. although i have been cramping for the last 3-4 days..... but i always cramp, so it doesn't really count as a symptom. welli guess we'll see next week!

I just woke up today morning with a very cold body. Y'day I know for sure that I ovulated and i felt so hot like I was having fever and today, my body is so cold. I don't chart my temp 'cos I never wake up at the same time everyday. But every time around the time I ovulate, I feel the rise in temp. But anyway, if the temp doesn't stay high that means i am not pregnant? Any ideas girls?

Krystin, hope u don't have to do an IUI and you get pregnant this month. It is (IUI) not a pleasant experience and they(doctors and nurses) only do it according to their standard protocol,which is same for everybody, and I tend to ovulate early and they do IUI after ovulation. It sucks. I feel that I made a mistake. They don't customize the IUI dates according to your body needs. So, you are better off IUI, 'cos BDing is very easy and you can do it whenever you want. For IUI, they have a rule that you shouldn't Bd 3 days before ovulation. Which is stupid, 'cos lot of women cannot pinpoint the day of O. So, try to avoid it, it is a waste of money and time. If you really want to get pregnant for sure, try IVF. Lot of docs suggest you to go through IUI atleast 3 times before IVF, but you insist that u want IVF. I am going to get an IVF done next month if i don't get pregnant this month. Anyway, lot of babydust to u .

Hey geneva, don't worry . Sperm can live upto 5 day in a fertile mucus. So, 2 days before O is not too bad. Don't lose your hope. Good luk!

Badly - thank you sooo much for all that helpful information. I really appreciate that. I was going to ask about that as well. I have no idea what/when/how the IUI gets done and what people have experienced. This is something I will definitely keep in mind.

I hope you get your BFP this month so you don't have to go the IVF route...((crossing my fingers))

so what is your opinions ladies. I am 6DPO and I don't feel a thing..no cramping, not a thing...is this a bad sign that I'll just end up with a BFN...last month I had really sore bb's, and had some mild cramping on and off....I don't know if its too early to see/feel any signs yet...but I don't know what to think...

we can drive ourselves crazy lookin for signs before af is due!....lol my boobs hurt every month during the last 2 weeks of my cycle. they literally feel like my milk is about to let down. and i haven't nursed in almost 2 years. i also cramp alot, so i can't tell if the cramps i'm having are related to preg. or if they are my normal crazy cramps. 6 more days till af is due......

Geneva, I hope AF stays away for you and you get your BFP. Last month I drove myself crazy looking for signs, and this month I'm trying to take a different approach but so far nothing...I think it might still be too early for me as I'm only 6DPO

Geneva, do you mean you always have sore boobs before AF arrives or does that start right after ovulation? For me, the only time I had sore boobs was when I was pregnant. In fact, that was the only pregnancy symptom I had when I was pregnant.Anyway, hope your cramps are caused due to the baby in your tummy.Baby dust.

Krystin, no sign is a good sign. Since you dont feel anything this month, it means something different is going on in ur body(hopefully pregnancy). So, cheer up.Clomid caused sore nipples for me and the pain was unbearable last month. my boobs hurted a little too. So, u can blame clomid for causing you sore boobs last cycle. Just hang in there. I'll give u my chart of IUI cycle.

(3rd day of period) cd3- B/W U/S,

cd 5 through 9- clomid 1 pill a day

cd 12- B/W,U/S(had one 20MM and four 14MM follicles)took Trigger shot that night to stimulate ovulation.(I ovulated right after trigger shot and egg only lasts for few hrs after ovulation. Thats y my IUI failed)

cd 13- IUI(They did it 14 hrs after ovulation, which means egg was no longer alive to be fertilized. They don't do U/S or some thing just before IUI to check if the follicle is still mature or if it just popped and ovulation occured.)

cd 14- IUI again(waste of time)



This is a typical protocol which most of the Doctors follow for IUI. So, you do the thinking and decide if u really want to have IUI. Instead you can save all the IUI money and spend it on IVF which has more success rates.But as I said before, I hope u get pregnant this month itself. Babydust.
