Just had IVF with ICSI?

I had egg retrieval on Friday and they collected 17 eggs out of 21 follicles. The embryologist called today to say they were able to ICSI 14 of them and that 9 had fertilised. Is this good? Will they all now survive until Monday? Thanks in advance

9 sounds great Joanne! I had only 3 fertilize out of 19 b/c of immaturity..put two back in and now preg with 1!!!

Yep! 1st child was conceived naturally first try..second had to be ivf.

9 is good Joanne. Just because they fertilized does not mean they will survive though. I know it sucks but good luck!!

Had 2 'excellent' embryo's transferred today and are freezing the rest. So excited!!
