so glad to hear most of us are truckin along.

Kate- how fun to plan a party for a one year old!! Def put some cake in front of that girl and let her go crazy!

As for me, this all day sickness is taking a lot out of me. I'm hungry pretty much all the time but by the time i go through the motions of cooking something or picking something up when I go to eat it I can't touch it. I'm hoping it subsides a bit for next week, I do not need to be puking while I'm in my wedding dress! (and I don't want to miss out on our wonderful dinner we have planned!!)

Besides doing the vitamins at different times has anyone found anything that works besides rx meds??

ashley, try ginger biscuits/tea or water biscuits/crackers and of course the dry toast, but it only kind of lines the stomach for a few hours and the nauseua stops too, but then you have to take/have again.

I hope it passess to you so you can enjoy your big day!

xx

Hey ladies.... What helped with my m/s was just sleeping it off.. I would drink TINY sips of water, put a freezing cold rag on my head and just doze off...

Gill I hope your right about the cravings,... I HAD to have Steak, Green beans, and a baked potato for dinner the other night, I made it to my likings... to remind you I've never messed with steak's nor baked a potato!! Lol... It was wonderful...

Sorry to hear all you ladies are having the all day sickness.. Mine isn't as bad anymore... I'm thankful for that...

I do have a tough situation on my hands... Ok I just got fired from one job only because I needed more time off and he couldn't give me that... We did leave on good terms so I could re apply if I wanted to... Well I applied for another job a while back ago and I got the job... But the job title requires me lifting heavy things, bending twisting and just working my butt off I'm scared doing that because I don't wanna hurt the baby.. My question is should I just stay home, get my rest and sleep, DH don't mind working but said if I want a diff house and my own car I'll have to work... I just don't know what to do... What do you ladies suggest? I'm completely fine staying at home... I've done it when we first got married... But I chose to work because I just wanted to... and been working since...

Heather, I think you should talk to your Dr. before taking a job that is going to be that much heavy lifting. They say you shouldn't lift anything over 10 lbs. I'm not even supposed to vacum my house. You wouldn't want to do anything to put the baby at risk.

So should I just stay home and not take the job... I think Brandon asked me if I wanted to work there yes or no and I'm almost positive I said no I didn't... I'm just in no shape to go to work... I'm gettin my sickness back I got a few Zofrans left then its to phenergan... UGH!!! That stuff will knock me out EVERYtime I take it... I can't be snoozin on the job... lol... I think its just better for me to stay home untill I get outta the danger zone... I think I'll talk to Brandon see what he suggests... My brother and sister in law even said not to... cause I'll have to pick up those BIG heavy dog food bags. Microwaves, (Which some aren't too bad) So I guess I might just stay home...IDK this is so hard for me!!!

Yeah.. I'm one whats called PE its a temp medical card from my Dr's and my dr said that my medical card don't cover Zofran so they gave me phenergan... or however you spell it... lol.. I just don't like the idea of taking med's while pregnant that make me sleepy or drowsy.. I don't like that at all...

Well I had a scare on Thursday some light brown spotting which I wasn't too worried about but then some pain on my right side on and off all day so I went in a Friday and both little ones are perfect! Thank God they did a culture to see if I have a yeast or strep infection b/c during the exam she noticed some chapped areas I know TMI but figured I'd share and now I'm having a burning feeling when I pee! So annoying but at least the little ones are great. I go again on Friday for another u/s and my first official OB visit. Now I'm waiting for the results of the cultures. It's always something. I am still constantly hungry yet nauseous too. Very weird feeling! And ridicuously tired!!

Glad everyone is doing well!

I got my H1N1 shot and it was fine, no reaction. Did everyone get it? What about the flu shot? I have to get that still.
