Meg's - its funny that you mentioned about the vaccine today.

My father-in-law called DH today begging him to make me go take the shot, my Dr didnt mention anything yet, and I am afraid to ask and they say to go get it. I dont like any shots.

But is really that bad?

I am traveling for Thanksgiving and going through all the airport crowd.. argh.. what to do?!!!

Hey ladies - the shot wasn't bad at all - just like the normal flu shot - small needle - shot in the arm - takes about 10 seconds. It's not even as bad as what a blood draw is half the time! My arm kind of hurts now (lol) but that's it! Easy as pie=). I know several of the IVF gals from the October/November thread that got BFP's got their H1N1 vaccination weeks ago - they are all fine - for what that's worth=).

My RE was so adimant guys, she said that the benefits far outweighed the risk. I was skeptical too. . .hence I told her no. . . I didn't want anything to effect my bean. . . .but she was persistent. I would at least ask your RE's or OB's about it the next time you go in. I suspect preggo ladies are in a priority group for vaccination for a reason=). Good luck in your decision making!

Carolina - aww! DH really wants to be able to tell his brother doesn't he?! I think after the heartbeat would be a decent time. If you weren't comfortable with others knowing at that point you could always tell him to keep it quiet (?). . . would that work?

Meg you are lucky to get the shot. I am def gonna get it when it is available to me. I am glad to hear your beta numbers went up as well!!

Lake I'm so glad your ultrasound went well. It's cool to be on the same thread after chatting together a few times. My u/s is scheduled for Dec 9th but I will go in sooner if I start having any problems.

Pregnant women are defintiely considered higher risk for h1n1. There have been over 6 times as many pregnant women hospitalized from H1n1 then there are from regular flu every year and infection is associated both with m/c and maternal death. I agree with the earlier post that the benefits of vaccination outweigh the risks for those of us that are expecting.

We just told my DH's immediate family tonight about our little bean. I'll be waiting to share the news with most everyone else though. I'm excited to see all of our little beans grow! I'm still feeling good, but in the past my m/s didn't start till 6-7 weeks.

So my morning sickness began in week 5 and then tapered off then in week 6 I felt more like I am "hungover" or "seasick" but now Im just downright SICK! I feel dizzy-like that my equilibrium is a lil off or something and it makes me feel like crap not to mention no food sounds good more or less tastes good :( Iiiiiick! Although I hope this means my lil bean is just telling me how much he/she loves me and is sticking on real tight!

My next u/s is Nov 30 but I really want to see it one more time before telling the family at Thanksgiving so I might call and see if I can sneak another peak?? lol I doubt they will let me ... boooo, lol.

glad to hear everyone's lil bean is ok.

I think I will take the vaccine on my next appt. My first appt is Dec 8th, cant wait to see and hear the heartbeat.. what a relief it must be!

I ve been extremely hungry and cold? arent we supposed to feel hot, bc our temperature raise? hum..

Meg.. The h1n1 vaccine isn't even an option here in ny so I suppose I don't have to worry about making that decision. I'm an elem. teacher too so I've become a clorox maniac since I got my bfp. I'm an anti- flu shot girl too so I'm not sure if anyone can convince me to get one.

It's hard for me to know my due date because my cycle was so messed up. I counted 2 weeks before my trigger and entered it in one of those online calculators and got July 28th! My DH and I are in our best friends wedding on the 31st so that should be interesting. We've been trying for 3 years and when our friends announced their wedding date we thought we'd have a lil ring bearer or flower girl for them.. instead I'll be in labor :)

It'll be nice to have us all in one place to share the craziness that our body is doing and we can get through all these lulls of waiting for the next test.

My 1st u/s is Wednesday. I am exhausted, have dry mouth & sore throat, & on/off cramping. Also, my eye feels like someone punched me.. seriously. It hurts to blink. But I'm going to assume that is unrelated!

29 years old, 2ndary infertility (have a 3 year old son)

TTC for 2 years, multiple IUI's - no success

IVF #1 - April 2009 - BFP - TWINS - Lost them in July

IVF #2 FET - BFP on November 12th (DUE DAT JULY 18TH)

1st beta: 301

2nd: 476

3rd : 970

4th : 1870

5th: 2703

Ultrasound on Nov 19th, 5.4 weeks pregnant, saw 2 gestational sacs ...but that's it, no yolk , no heartbeat...and i have no symptoms...i'm so worried this will end in another loss.

I go for my second ultrasound at 6.5 weeks on Nov 27th (Friday)...

DID ANYONE ELSE HAVE AN EARLY SCAN AND ONLY SEE A GESTATIONAL SAC???
