Awee Jolene that is so sweet. I am sure that you will ovualte this round because you do so well on the clomid. I was thinking that so many women with pcos get preggo and they do not have regular cycles so that has to mean that the ovualte late and they have healthy babies...you know there are times where some PCOS'ers do not know that they are preggo because the are irregular and ovualte late and their babies are healthy and happy..So please don't worry about late ovuation..Hope N told me the same thing don't worry..I thought that it would not happen this month and it did too forever about 2 weeks but it happened..and i would not have faith without everyone's support on this web site..So keep the faith girl and I know that it will happen for you so soon.....Take care..

So I figured since I havent done one of these yet that I would do one as of today.
Im 23 (well Feb. 26th, so close enough...haha)
TTC #1 since March 2007.
Found out I have PCOS August 20th, 2007, and found out I wasnt ovulation from March till I got put on Clomid in September, so about 6 months of trying and couldnt have gotten pregnant. I had to take Prometrium to start all this out, because when I went back to the doctor after telling me to wait a few weeks and see what happens I was CD45 and nothing, so they induced my period.
Round 1 Clomid @ 50mgs Taken CD4-8 cycle started September 22nd(CD1). Ovulated CD15, didnt get pregnant.
Round 2 Clomid @ 50mgs taken CD4-8 cycle started October 20th (CD1). Ovulated CD17, didnt get pregnant, but Progesterone level was awesome, 22.2.
Round 3 Clomid @ 50mgs taken CD4-8 cycle started November 19th, did NOT ovulate that cycle, and started Prometrium to induce my period December 14th CD26.
Round 4 Clomid @ 100mgs taken CD3-7 cycle started December 27th, GOT PREGNANT, progesterone was 24.3, lost the baby @ 5weeks pregnant.
Round 5 Clomid @ 100mgs taken CD5-9 cycle started January 31st, still waiting on ovulation, im CD20 today (Feb.19th). I feel like I will ovulate, it just may be a little later because of the miscarriage, but if not then im calling my doctors office on CD26(Monday), and getting them to RX me Prometrium to induce my period. I have thought about waiting till CD30 to actually take it, but im still debating.
Well thats it so far. This site has brought me soo much comfort and support and I dont know where I would be without it, Dr. Q, or my wonderful ladies/family!

I do, do pretty well on Clomid but at the same time I start thinking is my body getting immmuned to the Clomid.

I ovulated on CD 19 that was eleven days after my last famera pill...So i was up in stitches thinking that i was not gonna ovualte...but you should talk to your Dr about Famera..Not saying that it is gonna work for you but i love it and i have NO side effects what so ever that clomid made me a reaving bitch and so emotional. But i know that it does not do that to you...but I know that everyone is not the same...i just thought that it was a miracle because it worked so well for me I NEVER once ovualted on the clomid and then for it to give me 3 eggs at one time on the first dose (and the lowest dose i might add) it has to be a good drug...and the famera did nothing to my lining and my CM..I thought that i was gonna need the pre seed or the mucinex on the famera but when we did the post coital i had great fluid it was just to acidic and it was killing the sperm...Ask your Doc about famera and see youk now just what she says because it could never hurt...and i have read and my RE has alos told me that in his practice they are now using famera as the first line for pcos patients because it has better ovualtion rates..i just think the live birth rates are lower because you don't produce as many eggs as you would on the clomid...but with us that is not a problem because we have all those little eggs there waiting to grow anyways...LOL..that is why my doc said i had three...because i had all those small follicles on there..Well good luck sweetie..I am not gonna run my mouth to mcuh..LOL..
Thanks ladies, im praying for that BFP opk, just begging God for me to ovulate, because I would rather be in the 2WW waiting for a possible BFP, versus being in a 2WW waiting for AF to come from Prometrium to induce my period. Ya know? Thats why im debating on waiting till CD30.
If I wait till CD26 AF should be here March 8th or 9th, and if I wait till CD30 it should be here March 12th or 13th. So we will see.

Summer thanks for the information!!! Today is 11days after my last pill today, so between the MC and what not it may just be taking its time.
Actually I think this round they were going to put me on Femara, it may actually have been Round 4, but they didnt because they said I do soo well on Clomid with no side effects.
Im going to talk with them about all this, and talk with them about my lining might be getting thinned out, and stuff. How many MGs did you get up to in Clomid? Because if this round doesnt work then I would have to be up to 150mgs of Clomid, and im wondering if the smaller dose of Femara would work? Im hoping they suggest Femara, because like I said they were supposed to already have me on that.
I still have time, and I just have that feeling it will come, its just taking its time, since I took it CD5-9 this time, and from the m/c.

I was on 2.5 mg and that is from what i hear the usual starting dose i have heard that some people are on 5mg a day and up to 7mg a day i guess it depends on the person. I was on the 100 mg of clomid all 5 rounds they did not up me nor did they have me on 50 mg a day...That was with my OBGYN..My RE told me when i went to the RE that there was no reason to up me because it did not work for me...Now since you have gotten upped before and it worked then they are probably gonna up you because you do ovualate with the drug...But my friend had pcos and has one tube and she got upped to 200 mg the max dose and she ovualated with an hcg and got preggo that round...and she is way over weight...so like i said it just depends on the person...i just like famera because you can use for fo however long and it not affect too many things like the clomid will..yeah i think that it is just taking a little longer like you said because you took it a little later so you will ovuatle a little later..it is coming just have to wait a little longer...Take care sweetie..HUGGS...
Liane, that would be awesome if we get our BFP opks on the same day and ovulate the same day (well different CDs of course), and then enter the 2ww together and get BFPs together, that will be AWESOME!!!

I keep tossing the idea around about asking to come in for an u/s to see what the egg or eggs are doing, and if they are right there, then give me the darn shot that makes you ovulate, thats all I need, if it isnt going to happen, but last time I even mentioned ultrasound my nurse made me feel dumb. This time im going to say look I need a freaking ultrasound to see whats going on, lets look at the lining, the egg or eggs, and make sure there arent any cysts and stuff. Then if the egg or eggs are were they need to be just give me the shot...haha.

Oh im def. going to wait it out and give it time. I just keep getting scared I will shed the lining and have what I think might be a period and its really not. I have been talking with Dr. Q about all that. I dont want to confuse that with a period. If that makes sense. But Im def. waiting this out, my body needs a break and hopefully my body will ovulate on its own, and with the help of clomid.

Thanks sweetie, and yeah usually doctors say to wait a year before going to the next step. In my case I had been off BC for 6 months and had an annual pap and thats when my doctor thought he felt a cyst on one of my ovaries and come to find out it was tiny cysts everywhere (PCOS), he didnt think I was ovulating, and wanted me to wait it out a few weeks and if nothing wanted me to call and get my period induced.
Im wishing you the best and if cycles and stuff are pretty normal, you might be fine, and praying your hubby is fine too, and that yall get your BFP soon!!!

Im praying for that BFP opk but if not then I start Prometrium on CD35 of this cycle (March 5th), and shoudl get a period around March 17th or so. Not to bad, but hopefully I will ovulate before then. I still have a week and 3 days or so.

Im CD26 today and still no positive OPK. I thinking of calling on CD30 (which they said CD35 to call and get prometrium), but since we are going on a HUGE business trip April 4th-6th, and that would possibly put me around ovulation time, then I dont want to risk that, because we are rooming with some of our business partners, so I def. doing want to be BDing and them knowing, even though they know we are trying. Its different when they REALLY know you are TRYING at that moment...haha. Anyways so im thinking of calling Friday and starting Prometrium and telling them the situation. Im sure they will be totally fine with it.

Also started some new vitamins, and pretty much not doing my Prenatals because these have everything plus SOO much more then my prenatals have, and lots of my business partners who are pregnant or TTC there doctors all said these are GREAT to take, and to continue through pregnancy, with adding more iron into them.
