thats great news jen!!! Im hoping this is it for you!!! I also hope that that you guys can get some frozen embryos so that if you want to do it again you can after you get your BFP this month!! So..... how many days til testing and will you be testing at home at all or wait for the blood test?

Hello!!!
I'm home relaxing, things went well. I did acupuncture early before heading to the doctor. Then anxiously awaited my embryo report. I was worried that we would have to make a tough decision about how many to put it. They actually gave us their suggestion based on the outcome and we went with it. We put in 3!!! :O)
It is so cool, they gave us photos of the three little ones they are going to put in and also gave us the u/s picture of where they put them in.
16 were taken out, 9 fertilized without ICSI. The 3 that were put in were graded:
74 84 92. From what I understand the 1st number is the # of cells that divided (today they like them to be between 6-8) and the 2nd # is the grade (range from 1-5, one being the best and 5 I guess not so great). So the best one is the 92 and the others seem to be OK, so based on my age of 36 and the grade of 4 (3 is average so 4 is slightly below average) they decided to put the other two in as well. Two of the 3 had hard shells and needed assisted hatching and one didn't. They will watch the other 6 for a few days to determine if they can be frozen for later. Then I headed back for another acupuncture treatment and now I'm home resting and hoping for the BFP!!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT :O)

Thanks KAN, I'm trying not to, but I am thinking of ordering the ones online. I only have two here at home. The nurse today actually told me not to cheat and do a test at home before because it will only stress me out. I thought that was funny!!! I'm trying to be good but I'm sure I won't make it, I never have. I always test early!!! How early did you get your BFP?

I know one is only a 2 cell today and another is only 3 and they like them to be between 6 and 8 but the nurse said they can definitely catch up. Not sure how likely that is but I'm still hopeful :O)

Caryn, sounds great!! I agree that you will probably get trigger in a day or so as long as at least 4 of those 11 are in the 20 range. My office said at least 4 need to be 19 or 20 and it sounds like you are right there!! You will have plenty to choose from, I'm super excited for you. The transfer was super easy, just uncomfy with a full bladder. It was really neat and they even give photos of the embroys!!! They told me to rest and take it easy for the next few days but I don't have to be on bed rest, although I am going to stay in tonight. I will also take it easy for the rest of the weekend (hopefully we won't have to do too much preparing for hurricane IKE-I'm in south FL). Then no BDing, baths, swimming or intense activity for a week. I go back for progesterone test 9/10 and preggo test 9/17. :O) Sending you BABY DUST!!
