IVF RETRIEVAL TOMORROW- Slight FEVER and HEADACHE

NO DON'T TAKE IBUPROFEN!!! They told me only tylenol. Ibuprofen thins the blood and you don't want that. They told me no more of anything but Tylenol, sorry!! The fever I don't think is bad at 99.5 but do take it easy. The doc's office told me to keep an eye on it and to call them if it reached 100.4, I got up to 99.9 if I remember correctly. You will feel better tomorrow because it really isn't bad at all and the nurses will make you feel at ease :O) WISHING YOU THE VERY VERY BEST OF LUCK, PLEASE KEEP US POSTED!!!

Caryn, I'd hold off on any meds if you can, try drinking lots of fluids to stay hydrated and go lay down. Try and relax, I know you're excited, worried, stressed. It'll all be okay! (((hugs)))

Well I am only getting this now- I did take IBU.. I could not stand it anymore. and it was the only thing we had but now I feel better- fever broke too.. It will be out of my system by the morning and I will not take any more...I will tell them when I get in there in the morning..just so they are aware

I wish I had read this sooner.. My head felt like it was being squeezed by a vice.. I had to do something.. oh boy, oh well :(

Hey Caryn, Im not on much, but when I do get here, I read your updates. Im so sorry that you have been diagnozed with Viral Meningitis. God that sucks. At this time? Not fair at all. I hope all goes well with the IVF cycle. Sending you lots of Good luck and best wishes. Get well soon

Thanks HopeN- Just getting this now I have not been on much since then- I am feeling better- Funny how I re read this post now and that headache was the menengitis- who knew.. thanks hope you and Ella are well :)
