IVF/ICSI Why don't my doctors tell me anything?

I've been for a scan today, got another on Wednesday with possible egg retrieval on Friday. I see many posts here where people are told their FSH levels. I've never been told about mine. My doctors just scan me to check my lining and whether the follicles are growing. Should I know what my FSH levels are?
