Hi everyone. My husband and I are hoping to start IVF for the first time in September. We have been TTC for about a year and a half. I will be 35 in August and he is 43. He has a 10 year old son and I have no children. I am desperate for a child and I decided to join an online community for support. My husband is a great listener but I feel so overwhelmed and unfulfilled not being able to conceive that I felt other women going through the same thing might be able to help me cope better. We have unexplained infertility. My cycles are like clockwork. My husband's tests were fine. We have tried clomid and femara with IUI and we have tried injectable follistim with IUI with no success. With each month aunt flo shows up and I feel so depressed. It's awful. It consumes me and I try to keep a positive frame of mind but its so hard. Not to mention the weight gain and water retention I have been experiencing with my hormones being so out of whack. I know it will all be worth it in the end if we have a little one. I just wanted to share with other women who are going through the same thing. Thank you for listening. Lots of baby dust to all of you. hi, i just had an egg retrieval and they got 17 eggs. i was not given any pain reliever medications and it's quite painful after the procedure. Any remedy to relieve pain? Can Hot pack do the trick?
Dina.. welcome to Fertlity Ties. Glad to see that u have joined us. We are here to support u and help u through ur journey. We know how hard it is sometimes to conceive. There are alot of women on here that have been TTC for along time. It will happen when the time is right. I have been TTC for 8 months after my TR. It has yet to happen for my DH and me either. I have 2 kids but DH has none. I feel the sameway as u everytime AF shows her face. If u have any questions or jsut want to talk someone is always here.
