Hello doctor,

I'm 11 dpo today and I haven't taken a hpt yet, but today I'm feeling very blah...sore boobs, a little nauseous/no appetite, a congested. Of course, I could just be getting sick, too!

I was planning to test Thursday if AF doesn't show. I've read that this can appear in women who are pregnant.

Do you see this sort of thing often? Thanks.

All the time Christine, as this is from the hormone Progesterone that occurs after ovulation and continues during pregnancy (you can read more about this by searching the site) We wish you the best on Thurs, and please keep us posted and an hpt may possibly flash for you tomorrow.

Thanks doctor. We'll see what happens on Thurs. However, I forgot to mention that I don't seem to have plentiful cervical mucus anymore. Is that a necessarily a sign of pregnancy?

Not necessarily Christine, as Progesterone "thickens" up your mucus and thus you don't see as much of it and Progesterone is found after ovulation and pregnancy, so it's very nonspecific.
