iui sucess!

Thanks for sharing this. I am on my 3rd IUI. The first was with Clomid- and it thiinned my lining to 5.8, and follicles were 20, 19, 18, and 16...that was a BFN. the next month we tried Femara- it thinned my lining even worse- went down to 4.8, but the follicle was 23. they would not give me the iUI becuase of the thin lining. This month we have decided no drugs, and I've been eating black licorice root (supposed to increase estrogen) well it did- my estrogen was 10X what is should have been! My lining is 7.3, and I had one follicle on day 10 of 19mm. My Dr was thrilled so she gave me the HCG that afternoon and did my IUI the next monring 0 day 11. What do you think? Am I in good shape for this one to stick? She also prescribed my progesterone suppositories to take until I test for Pregnancy.

So dod you get pregnant by IUI or IVF? And what meds were you on?

Congrats to you and your hubby! I just started IUI's on my natural cycle with donor sperm. My husband doesn't produce any. I'm on my second TWW and I'm so glad to read your sucess story. I don't respond well to clomid or follistim, so we are doing this on my natural cycle. Thank you for the encouragement with your story and God bless you guys.

Good luck Condy on your natural cycle. I did 2 natural cycles, and no luck. This month I am trying a combo of Fermar and Gonal-F. I go in for my day 10 Ultra sound to check for follies!! This will be my 4th IUI....I am hopeful that this time is the one....I will keep you posted :)

Me longer cycles (32 days) questionable ovulation

DH very good sperm count, ok motility, poor (3%) morphology

14 months TCC

6 months of clomid (5 with Ob/Gyn) (1 with RE)

Clomid cycle with RE was going to be an IUI cycle but the clomid had thinned my lining (6mm) so we couldn't proceed.

Started FSH injections the next month (Gonal rff pen) days 5-12.

Day 13 two large follicles (20+), had Hcg trigger injection (Ovidrel).

Day 14 IUI DH sperm count 80mil 6% morphology - better than the 3% we were used to!!

Day 26 (13 days after trigger, 12 dpIUI) BFP

Day 27 (14 days after trigger, 13 dpIUI) BFP had blood test done today and will have results in the morning.
