IUI and cramps

I just went through IUI yesterday after taking clomid cd 4-8. Doctor told me that it was a good time to do the procedure. Since yesterday, I have been having cramps. Not painful per se but just curious what is going on...is this a good sign?

Hi Angie and Welcome to F/T! If you are ovulating it sounds like Mittelschmerz that some women feel during ovulation and it occurs between your cycles, right before and during ovulation and is completely normal if this is the case.

Hi Angie - I had a successful IUI the first time and did have slight cramps the day of the IUI and the day after - I hope that helps!

Congrats Dakota! Sad to say I got a BFN...but I am completely excited for you though...maybe it just was not the right time for me yet.

Thanks guys - Unfortunately I lost the baby at 9 weeks last Tuesday- but will doing another IUI after my next 2 periods so I am really hoping to succeed again. My poor husband is so upset at losing the baby.

I am so sorry to hear that you lost the baby. I can imagine how devastating is must have been for you. (((((((HUGS)))))))))) I wish you luck on your next cycle. The way I see it, everything in life happens for a reason and we will one day get our turn!!! Baby dust to you, Dakota!!!
