I recently had an abdominal myomectomy to remove 5 fibroids. As I prepare to start a cycle of IUI with injections I am worried about whether these hormones will stimulate regrowth of fibroids.
Is there even the slightest correlation? And if i don't appear to have any fertility issues (other than being 37 years old) would you advice a a natural IUI cycle before using injections?

Yes, hyperestrogenic state does cause an increase... for which follistim will create. However, it's such a transient state of hyperesterogen that it clincally won't make much of a difference in terms of fibroid growth
