Is mid-cycle bleeding is a sign of something gone wrong?

Hello Doctor,

I'm 31 years old with PCOs. I am not on clomid this month due to large cysts in my ovaries in the last cycle.

This cycle appears a little confusing to me. I started bleeding on cd14 (6dpo) after intercourse and it lasts for 4-5 days. It's unlike a period—less heavy and more brownish and/or watery blood.

I called my RE and he asked me to "wait it out" and if the bleeding is tapering off, I should be fine. I am feeling anything but fine...

Is there something wrong with the lining, the uterus or my ovaries? Should I insist on getting an ultra sound in the next day or two?

Can I still be pregnant in this cycle?
