Is it true that you can easily get pregnant after D&C?

Im not sure if its easier but i know it doesnt affect ur fertility. Prolly best to wait until at least the 1st AF afterwards...to make sure ur system is cleaned out. Im so sorry u got to go through this, i lost 5 babies but i never had a dnc..4 were lost natural and the 5th was tubal,which all i had were injections. its different for every person, after my m/c i got pregnant straight away, without having a period.. my friend who had d&c she got pregnant straight away also, my cousin on the other hand tried for 7 months b4 she fell pregnant so its different for every person..but i do wish u the best and hope all goes well for u

I got pregnant right away after my d and c .I had a beautiful baby boy witch is not such a baby any more he is now 9 years old.Lol

Nothing about the D&C makes you more likely to get pregnant right away. Having a D&C can make for quicker recovery than a m/c without a D&C in the sense that ones cycle can restart right away after the D&C. Definitely safer to wait until you have a period (usually 6-8 wks after the D&C, the bldg you have directly following the procedure is NOT a period) to start TTC again to make sure your lining is stable again. in my experance, no 3 years later no luck. i guess it depends on if you have any problems in the first place but everyone is diff. so good luck :)
