The instructions that come with my Pregnyl (HCG) say it is only to be given intra-muscularly. However, the nurse at my RE's office said to do it subcutaneously.

Is this okay? What is the difference?

It's ok to take SQ, with no known difference, outside of it many times leaving a red welt at the injection site
